Workflow and pricing
Why not just email a PDF?
Emailing a PDF can work, but it leaves versions, reminders and progress with you. SignThat gives each recipient a secure signing step, keeps fields consistent, shows what is happening and finishes with the signed document and completion record together. See the complete workflow.
Do I need a subscription?
Not for a solo workspace. SignThat uses prepaid, non-expiring credits and includes one Owner seat. Optional Admin, Editor and Viewer seats use a €2.60-per-member monthly team subscription. Read the full pricing breakdown.
Do credits expire?
No. Purchased credits do not expire. The workspace shows the credit cost before you confirm a paid action, and the minimum credit purchase is €5.00.
Signing and evidence
Can more than one person sign?
Yes. Add multiple recipients to one agreement. Each person receives their own secure link, completes their own fields and signs independently.
Can someone sign in person?
Yes. Start a single-use session for a waiting recipient, let them scan the QR code and complete the agreement on their own phone. End-to-end encrypted agreements use the normal account-based browser workflow instead.
Can I require photo verification?
Photo evidence is an optional contract-level add-on for remote and in-person recipients. SignThat records consent and stores the photo as separate evidence; it does not perform facial recognition.
Are SignThat signatures qualified electronic signatures?
SignThat does not make that claim. It captures typed, drawn or uploaded electronic signatures and supporting evidence, but does not represent them as qualified electronic signatures. The right signature level depends on the document and applicable law.
Security and recipient access
What does end-to-end encryption protect?
The optional encrypted workflow protects the contract snapshot, selected fields and signature responses in participant browsers. Operational metadata, participant discussion and photo evidence are not covered by that encryption. Compare the two storage workflows.
Can recipients sign without creating an account?
Recipients can normally open a standard secure link and sign without an account. End-to-end encrypted agreements require the intended recipient account so the protected content can be decrypted in that participant’s browser.
What happens to a signing link after completion?
A standard public signing link remains available for a limited grace period after completion, then expires. A recipient with a matching verified account can continue to access their agreement; otherwise they should download their copy during the grace period.
Workspace, branding and API
Can we use our own branding?
Yes. Workspaces can add a logo, brand colour, email message and custom-domain setting for a more consistent recipient experience.
Can SignThat connect to our internal systems?
Yes. Workspace owners can generate company API keys to create templates and standard agreements, send recipients, query status and receive signed webhooks. API-created agreements do not use the optional end-to-end encrypted workflow. Explore the SignThat API.
